Penguin Children’s Books division Sunbird has acquired UK children’s book rights to forthcoming blockbuster “Iron Man 2”.
Sunbird will publish two titles; a double-sided paperback novelisation which will feature the storylines of "Iron Man" and the sequel, plus an official movie storybook with pull-out poster.
Eric Huang, Sunbird publisher, said: "Iron Man 2 publishing rights is the perfect addition to Sunbird’s list of edgy tie-in books. We are all fans of Marvel’s fantastic portfolio and are proud to be their publishing partner once again."
The film, starring Robert Downey Jr and based on a Marvel comic about billionaire inventor Tony Stark who is also superhero "Iron Man", is released in April.
